Congrats to Winners in Educational Video Competition

Atomic Learning is proud to have been a sponsor of the recent Region 6 Educational Video Competition.

All of the school districts in Region 6 were invited to submit video entries in three categories including: Technology as a Teaching Tool, Morning Announcement Video, and My School is the Best. Within each category, teachers and students in grades K-5 and 6-12 were invited to submit up to three videos per school.

More than 30 videos were submitted to the competition site which you can see here.

Newly relaunched YouTube channel now online

We've recently wrested our proper YouTube channel from the grubby hands of a spam squatter. In case anyone else is dealing with this same issue, Google has finally created a mechanism by which rightful owners can reclaim their channels.

We've uploaded many free tutorials already, along with a great video of a professional development day put on by our own Jody Ouradnik at Hopkins school district in southeastern Minnesota.

We'll be adding new tutorials and other videos often, so stop by and be sure to subscribe!

US DoE Challenges Students with Video Contest

On September 8, President Barack Obama called on the nation's students to take greater responsibility for their education. Now, the U.S. Department of Education is asking students to respond by participating in a national video contest titled “I Am What I Learn.” (read more)
